More Ouzel Hunting

I made another brief visit to the Hill this morning hoping for a decent view of a Ring Ouzel. I headed up along the favoured hedgerow and was a hundred yards or so behind some other birders. From a hawthorn that they had just passed within a few yards of I heard the tucking of an Ouzel. Standing to watch I saw movement and it then flew out of the bush, it flew directly to another bush before reemerging, flying quite high then circling before disappearing off towards the northern slope of the Castle. Satisfied with the view and being tight on time I headed back in the same direction getting another view of the bird as I headed down towards the road. Also seen were two Wheatears, several Yellowhammers and Meadow Pipits and a couple of Corn Buntings.
