Back Home

We had a good journey home from our week in Cornwall. A very enjoyable break with a reasonable bit of birding. I am a little bit ashamed of my inability to get out of bed to go birding first thing but so be it. The bed was much too comfortable. Sixty three species seen with a couple of others heard. No rarities but some good stuff overall. Black Redstart was my favourite. As trailed previously here are a few pictures from the trip. Some birds, some not.

Thank you for the holiday blog Malcolm. Sounds like you had a good time and I am particularly pleased that you saw some choughs. I don’t know Cornwall very well and must get down there one day.
